In loving memory of Crosby “Bing” Speck who passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Monday, August 13th, 2018 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of Céline N. Speck of Sudbury. Loving father of…Terry Flynn (husband Gord) of Saskatchewan, Tim Speck (wife Darlene) of Kingston, Kevin Speck of Capreol, Kory Speck of Onaping, Kathy Comisso (husband Oliver) of Capreol, Garnet Speck (wife Beverley) of Hanmer, Russell Speck of Sudbury… Daniel Nielsen (wife Karey) of Calgary and Marc Nielsen (wife Sonia) of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Pam, Alex, Todd, Zac, Stephen (wife Lisa), Anthony, Carly, Eric, Christian, Noah, Joshua, Jana, Jacob and Violet who made him a great grandfather. Dear brother of Garnet Speck (wife Jean) both predeceased, Geneva Urbanski (husband Peter) both predeceased, Amie Rutledge (husband Robert) both predeceased, Delphine Archibald (husband Howard predeceased)………….. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Bing was born in Beeton, Ontario on April 1st, 1931. He moved to the Sudbury area in 1969. For over 20 years, Bing worked for INCO as a miner. One of his favourite pastimes was watching TV, especially the Toronto Blue Jays. He will be remembered as a very giving and supportive individual who had a heart of gold. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside committal service will take at the Civic Cemetery at a later date.
