Rouleau, Helene (Lalonde)

It is with great sorrow the family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved mother Helene Rouleau at the age of 75 on June 23, 2018. She showed great courage and strength in the final months of her life. Daughter of the late Rene and Eva (nee Gervais) Lalonde. Predeceased by her life partner and husband Ron Sr. Scagnetti. Loving mother of Robert Rouleau (Laura) and Lise Violette (Mario). Will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Stephanie (Dave), Sachelle (Isaac), Nicolas (Nirosha), Shane, Michael, and Marcus. Cherished great-grandmother of Tyson and Stone. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family Randy (Barb), Ron Jr. (Carol), Lynn, Liana Copping (Fred predeceased), Chris (Kim), Marissa, Jennifer, Tyler, and Kyle Scagnetti, and her son in-law Rob Violette. Predeceased by her brother and sister in law Aime & Joyce Lalonde, nieces Kathy Barbarino (Vinnie), Janet Gottfried (Alan), great nieces and nephews Joe (Carissa), Ed (Ashley), Nikky (Brian), Becky (Jason) all from California. In Helene’s 40 years of service with Loblaws and the time she worked at Ben Moss she made many dear friends who will deeply miss her. She was known as a classy lady and also down to earth. She had such a young spirit and loved to have fun and laugh with family and friends. Her passions included travelling the world and making sure those she loved dearly were taken care of. Her strong will and determination gave her the strength to always overcome life’s obstacles with positivity and dignity. We will forever miss her. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch Street, Sudbury (Friends may call 4pm-8pm Wednesday) Funeral Mass in Holy Redeemer Church 1887 Bancroft Dr., Sudbury Thursday, June 28th, 2018 at 10am. Cremation with interment in St. John’s Cemetery, Garson. Donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation or Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.
