Mustonen, H. Lahja 'Helen' (Ihalainen)

In Loving Memory of Lahja Hellin “Helen” Mustonen (nee Ihalainen) 97 years Passed away Friday, June 22nd, 2018 at Pioneer Manor. Beloved wife of Pekka Mustonen predeceased 1974. Loving mother of Eila (husband Eddy Bradley), Pentti (predeceased 1991) (wife Linda), and Tuula Mustonen. Cherished Mummo of Kenny, Keith, Kari (Angela), Kelly, Peter, and Tiffany and great grandchildren Ryan, Lily, and Alex. Dear daughter of Edvard and Alisa Ihalainen both predeceased. Dear sister of Lauri, Kalle, Karra and Veijo all predeceased and Sinikka and Raili of Finland. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Helen came to Canada in 1953. She worked for the Copper Cliff School Board. She loved to garden, cook, and bake, especially her grandchildren’s favorites, weave Finnish rag rugs, sew, and knit. Funeral Service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch St., Sudbury Wednesday, June 27th, 2018 at 1pm. Interment in the family plot at the Park Lawn Cemetery. (Friends may call after 11am Wednesday) In lieu of flowers, donations to Finlandia Village SISU Foundation would be appreciated.
