In Loving Memory of Simone Lorraine Fontaine (nee Demoré) 79 years Peacefully Monday, June 18th, 2018 at Health Sciences North with loving family at her side. Beloved wife of Roger Fontaine, married for 59 years. Loving mother of Denise Roy (Norm), Gisele McCue (Dale), Rheal Fontaine, Susanne Fontaine (Joe Ross), Carmène Fontaine and Marcel Fontaine (Mona). Cherished mémère of Patrick, Mathieu, Adam, Corey, Mark, Benjamin, Lisa, Sarah and great grandchild Kaleb. Dear sister of Alice Savoie (husband Al predeceased), Rita Guay (husband Henry), Florence Dupuis (husband Anthyme) both predeceased, Jane Dubreuil (husband Cliff predeceased), Yvonne Johnston (husband Ted predeceased), Anne Gascon (husband Claude predeceased), Sylvio Demoré (wife Betty predeceased) and Jerry Demoré (Gloria). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Simone spent many happy winters in Florida (15 years) and summers at her camp (26 years). She enjoyed golfing, fishing and was a proud winner of horseshoe tournaments. Memorial Mass in St. Jacques Church, Hanmer Friday, June 22nd, 2018 at 11am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Friends may call at the church after 10:30am Friday. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
