Tasso, Luciana 'Lucy' (Falcioni)

In loving memory of Luciana “Lucy” Tasso (nee Falcioni), 71 years old, who passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, June 5th, 2018. Born in Bellocchi, Italy, she moved to Canada with her family in 1956. Lucy had many passions (knitting, baking, cooking, reading), with the greatest being intensely loving and entertaining (and feeding) her family and close friends. Devoted wife of Nello Tasso of Sudbury. Loving mother of Julie and Michael (wife Olyana). Doting “Nonna” of Lexi Chevrette. Cherished sister of Giuseppe “Joe” Falcioni (predeceased)(wife Carla) and William Falcioni (wife Elmora). Beloved aunt to Maurice (wife Carol), Frank (wife Carol, predeceased), Mirella (husband Brian), Lisa, and Danny (wife Terry-Lynn). Loving great-aunt to Samantha, Dana, Alexandra, Vanessa, Dean, Adam, Scott, Ayla, and Max, and cherished “Zia” to many other cousins and relatives. Dear daughter of Virginio and Ida Falcioni both predeceased. Lovingly remembered by many other friends and relatives in both Sudbury and Italy. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the personal support workers, nurses, and administrative staff at the NorthEast LHIN, Bayshore, and Extendicare York. Their dedicated care was a great comfort. Celebration of Life at the Copper Cliff Italian Club 7 Craig Street, Copper Cliff Sunday, June 10th, 2018 from 12 noon to 3pm, with prayers at 12 noon. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to Diabetes Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated
