In loving memory of Murray Cotnam who passed away at Pioneer Manor in Sudbury on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of 50 years to Claudette (Girard) of Sudbury. Incredible and loving father of Vivianne Cotnam (Marc Levesque) of Sudbury, Stacey Miville (Daniel Miville) of Chelmsford and Charlene Cameron (Ben Smith) of Ottawa. Dear son of Harvey and Dorothy Cotnam (both predeceased) of Pembroke. Cherished grandfather of Dannika, Tessa and Kara. Brother of Ron (predeceased), Bill, Barbara, Shirley, Nancy, Colleen, David and Kevin. Murray ventured to Sudbury from Pembroke to start his career as a miner at INCO where he was best known as “Pemmy”. In his healthier years, some of his favourite pastimes were gardening, cooking, hunting, fishing and bowling. His greatest joy however was being surrounded by his family. Murray will be remembered as an excellent caregiver for his family who also had a great sense of humour and loved to joke around. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date. Donations to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Canada or Alzheimer’s Society Canada, in Murray’s memory, would be greatly appreciated. Cremation arrangements in care of Simple Wishes of the North. (705) 470-7070
