With great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved mother Glenda Rhodes (Kuz) at Health Sciences North on Sunday, March 11th, 2018 at the age of 62 years. Dearest wife and best friend of David Rhodes whom she is reunited with in heaven. Eldest daughter of Stanley & Ruby Kuz and step-daughter of Leo Butler (all predeceased). Loving sister to Debbie Vandruenen (Marc) and Arlene Delongchamp (Colin). Proud mother to Abbey Rhodes (Greg), Penny-Laine Rhodes and Lindsey (Rhodes) Groleau (Adam). Cherished grandmother “GG” to Bretton and Sarah Harper, Tyson and Devyn Aubin, Gabriel & Adalyn Groleau. Caring Aunty Glenda to Chrissy Vandruenen (Derek), Lance Delongchamp, Amy Delongchamp and Steven Rhodes. Great Aunt to Paige and Dani, Lucah and Micha, and Silas. Giving friend to Joanne, Patti Jo, Brenda, Don and many many more. Glenda was born in Sudbury on August 21, 1955. For about 30 years, she worked as a bank teller at TD Bank in Garson. Glenda had a passion for shopping and loved to “do lunch”. She also enjoyed watching tv and attending yard sales. She will be remembered as a very giving and influential person. A memorial mass for Glenda will take place at St. John the Evangelist Church in Garson on Saturday, May 12th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. The interment of her ashes will immediately follow at St. John’s Cemetery where at last, she will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband David Rhodes who has been patiently awaiting her for 12 years. Relatives and friends are also invited to join the family for a celebration of Glenda’s life which will take place that same day beginning at 12 noon at the Falconbridge Legion.
