In Loving Memory of Ronald O. Martin, 70 years, who passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 in Sudbury, ON. Survived by his daughter Michelle Martin-Jones (Wayne Jones). Cherished grandfather of Ethan and Shayna Jones. Chère ami de Claudette Racette. Dearly loved brother of Pierre (Louise), Gilles (Claudette), Mike (Brenda) and Marc. Ron spent much of his career as a professor at Cambrian College where he took great pride in his students. Famous for his spaghetti sauce and meatballs, Ron was a fantastic cook who loved gathering with family and friends especially on Vine Street by the pool. Ron always held a special place in his heart for Lake Nipissing, from the family-built cottage to the annual fishing trips where there was always a lot of beer drinking and a little fish catching. Ron adored his daughter and grandchildren who were the focus of his life and his love for them kept him fighting till the end. Ethan and Shayna part ways with their grandpapa with wonderful memories that will stay with them forever. A special thank you to the wonderful friends at the Rockview Seniors Co-Op.
