His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his pride and joy. In 1991 Noel got a second chance at love when he married Carmen Joly and welcomed into his life a second family. Together they enjoyed traveling, golfing and dancing to the music of the Roy’s. Noel was an exceptional horseshoe player. His 90% ringer average qualified him to compete nationally in the mid ‘80’s. He also enjoyed curling at the Falconbridge, Coniston and Sudbury Curling Clubs throwing rocks until age 91. In the summer it was all about golf, playing his last round August 2017. It was in those times that he made many lasting friendships. Coffee at Tim Hortons with the boys was a regular outing. He will greatly be missed by the guys. Noel will forever be remembered by his wife, family and friends as a kind, happy, cheerful man who with his infectious smile always projected a positive image. The Goulet and Joly families sincerely thank the staff at the Northeast Cancer Centre and the palliative care team and volunteers at Maison McCulloch Hospice for the wonderful care given to Noel during his end of life journey.
