In Loving Memory of Philip “Skip” David Van Luven 73 years Passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 28th, 2018 at Health Sciences North Beloved husband of 44 years to Diane (nee Roy). Loving father of Corrina Gavan (husband Martin) and Josie Van Luven. Cherished Grandpa of Devon and Riley Gavan. Predeceased by his parents Nelson & Anne Van Luven. Survived by his step brother Fred Chapman. He will be sadly missed by the Roy family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering in the garage and spending time with his buddies. He was happiest when he was spending time with his family and grandsons. The family would like to thank the staff, nurses and doctors at Health Sciences North 5th floor south tower for their care and compassion. At Skip’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
