In loving memory of Kevin ""Sam"" Samarin, of Coniston, who passed away at the Maison McCulloch Hospice on Saturday, February 24th, 2018 at the age of 58 years. He is survived by his son Jason Samarin. Loving brother of Terry Page (Rodger) of Sudbury, Marla Julien (Dan) of Sudbury and Cindy Samarin (Todd Blais) of Wahnapitae. Dear uncle of Amanda Julien, Bradley Blais and Justin Page. Kevin was born in Sudbury on May 6th, 1959 to parents Sonja and Robert Samarin, both predeceased. For about 30 years, he lived in Yellowknife where he worked as a truck driver. He returned to Greater Sudbury approximately 10 years ago. He loved spending time in the great outdoors especially fishing and hunting. Some of his other favourite pastimes were playing pool, tinkering with vehicles and travelling. Sam will be remembered as a ""happy-go-lucky"" kind of guy with a great sense of humour, always willing to help anyone in need. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation. A committal service will be held at the Civic Cemetery Mausoleum at a later date. Donations to the Sudbury Hospice Foundation, in Sam's memory, would be greatly appreciated. Cremation arrangements in care of Simple Wishes of the North. (705) 470-7070
