Depatie, Raymond 'Ray'

With profound sadness and much love the family of Raymond (Ray) Depatie announce his peaceful passing at home on Friday evening, February 23rd, 2018. Ray was the beloved husband and best friend of Mary (McIvor) for 53 years, devoted father of Ross (Sharri), Kim Lamoureux (Moe), Kelly (Steven), Chris and Kevin. Proud Papa of Ryan. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Dear son of Alice and Horace Depatie both predeceased, loving brother of Armand predeceased (Hughette), Theresa Gravelle (Lionel), Lorraine Savard (Rheal) both predeceased, Rick (Sharon), David (Janet), Larry and Suzie both predeceased. Much loved big brother to sister-in-law Janette Adam (Peter). Ray was a truly kind and generous man, always putting the needs and well being of others before himself. He was a well respected tradesman having worked for many years in the construction industry and finishing his career as a partner with Nu North Mechanical. He will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. We would like to thank Dr. Merotto, Dr. Cano, Dr. Walton, the Shared Care Team, CCAC Care Coordinator Jennifer and Bayshore nurses Stacey and Betty Ann for their support and care during Ray's illness. The family will welcome friends and family to a Celebration of Life on Friday, March 2nd at the Forest Ridge Golf and Country Club in Chelmsford between 12pm and 3pm. Donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Sudbury Park Lawn Cremation Service.
