In loving memory of Marilyn (nee Steed) Sauvé, 85 years, passed away peacefully Saturday February 24th, 2018 at HSN with her loving family at her side. Beloved wife of Norman Sauvé predeceased 1998, loving mother of Tim Sauvé (Norma), Judy Kirkwood (Don), Rick Sauvé (Susan), Michelle Watkins (Tom). Cherished grandmother of Chantelle (Rikki), Chris (Holly), Michelle (Ryan), Matthew, Adam, Justin, Nicholas, Trevor and 7 great grandchildren. Dear daughter of Robert & Margaret (McPhee) Steed, both predeceased. Dear loving sister of Joan Hunt predeceased (Bill). Sadly missed and fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Marilyn worked at home raising her children, she also worked at Sears for 19 years, retiring in 1984. Marilyn believed in active service in her community and she volunteered for many years with the Cancer Society. She was a very active member of St. Patrick’s parish, working on the bereavement team, and bringing communion to the hospice and a member of the Catholic Woman’s League. Marilyn cherished her many friends. Those friendships from her married years, from Lord of the World Parish and Sears who continued to meet monthly for lunch, her friends from her apartment and her church community. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch Street, Sudbury (Friends may call 4-8pm Tuesday with parish prayers 7:30pm Tuesday). Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church 39 Walford Road, Sudbury Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 10am. Interment in the family plot at the Civic Memorial Cemetery.
