Marthe Ouellette (nee Chartrand) was greeted at the gates of Heaven by her parents Jean-Baptiste and Aurelie Chartrand and by her husband Roger Ouellette on this 13th day of February at the young age of 91. From hard working to camping, to gardening, singing, dancing, crafting and especially cooking and baking…her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were all lucky to have acquired at least a few of her many talents. Mom was the gentlest, kindest of souls always thinking of others and putting their needs ahead of her own. She was the rock that made sure our big crowd always got together to share precious family time and made memories. Her spaghetti and meatball dinners are still much talked about and cherished. May you be enjoying your first of many dances with dad and singing with your angels. Mom’s sisters Yolande, Yvette, Carmen, Rachelle, Pauline and Marie are celebrating that she is reunited with her predeceased parents and siblings: Jean, Madeleine, Paul, Alphonse and Therese. Her children Diane Chenier (Fern), Gerald (Debbie), Richard (Vicky), Carole (Bill) and Michele Chatelain (Guy) are counting of her to watch over our children (Alain, Pierre, Jennifer, Jessica, Steven, Danielle, Renee, Denis, Nicole and Cody) and her great-grand children : Brooklyn, Blake, Carter, Brady, Mila, Jasmine, Reed, Chase, Bauer, Mathieu, Felix, Sophie, Paeslie and baby-boy-yet-to-be. How blessed are we, to have been so loved by thee! The family wishes to express most sincere thanks to the staff in Lodge 1 at the Pioneer Manor for their unwavering love and exceptional care for mom in the last 5 years.
