Jones, James

James has passed after a short struggle with leukemia on Sunday, January 7, 2018. He was born in Glasgow Scotland to the late James and Elizabeth (nee Muir) Jones. He is survived by his beloved wife Maureen. His daughter Sharon and her children Sophie and Quinn. His daughter Michele and his son in law Gregory Cox. He married Maureen Braid in 1964 and in 1967 they immigrated to Canada bringing their daughter Sharon. Soon after they arrived and settled in Hamilton Ont., their second daughter Michele was born. Shortly after Michele was born the Jones family moved to Sudbury. James lived for his family, he worked at INCO for 30yrs and provided them with a happy and loving home. At James’s request no service will be held. The family would like to thank the staff at Health Sciences North for all the love and support they provided. Condolences may be sent to 3095 Algonquin RD.
