Levac, Shirley (Wilkie)

In loving memory of Shirley (nee Wilkie) Levac, 74 years old. She died suddenly on Saturday morning Jan 6th, 2018 at LHSC - University Hospital in London. Loving mother of Charlene Bartha of London (husband Robert). Dear and only daughter of John and Clara Wilkie predeceased. Cherished and proud grandmother of Justin and Christopher Bartha. Loving sister-in-law to the Levac family and many nieces and nephews. Will be deeply missed by the Bartha family. Dear and loyal friend to many. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her. Born in Sudbury and raised in Lively which was her home until eight years ago when she had a stroke. She came to London to recover and be close to her daughter and grandchildren. She graduated from Lively High School. Shirley enjoyed great conversation and coffee with her friends at the coffee shop in Lively. She enjoyed watching sports, was an avid cook and had a great sense of humour. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Chelsey Park Retirement home in London On, as well as her family doctor and team and the doctors and nurses at University Hospital. Funeral prayers in the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent Street, Sudbury on Wednesday, January 10th, 2017 at 11:30am Friends may gather after 10:30am Wednesday.
