In Loving Memory of Domenico DiViesti 88 Years Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Pioneer Manor Beloved husband of Teresa (nee Basile) DiViesti. Loving father of Anna (Charlie Paxy) and Dina predeceased (Robert Centis). Cherished grandfather of Jeffrey Christison, Diandra and Lorena Buttazzoni, Jordan and Evan Paxy. Dear son of Orazio and Anna Maria (nee Coccia) DiViesti both predeceased. Dear brother of Antonio (Nina), Domenica (Cesare DiLella predeceased), Francesco “Frank” predeceased (Jeannette), predeceased by Antonietta (Antonio Del Mastro), Libera (Francesco Trombetta) and Donata (Pietro Finizio). Dear son-in-law of Nicole and Maria (nee Gioffi) Basile both predeceased. Dear brother in-law of Rocco (Angela predeceased), Antonio “Tonino” predeceased (Betina), predeceased by Vittoria (Francesco Basile) and Matteo (Nanina). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Born in Carpino, Foggia, Italy where he married Teresa in 1957. He was a proud grandfather and loved sharing his stories with his grandchildren. Domenico treasured family gatherings at his home where he would play his harmonica, sing old Italian songs and tell funny stories. He was an avid gardener and turned his backyard into a beautiful vegetable and flower garden. Domenico felt he had everything one could ever want, and enjoyed his life. He taught his family to work hard, be strong, be there for one another and enjoy life. A Private Family Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch Street, Sudbury Saturday, January 6th, 2018 (No public visitation) Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
