Tworo, Stanislawa ""Stasia (Baranska)

In loving memory of Stanislawa (Stasia) Tworo (nee Baranska) who passed away suddenly on December 30, 2017 at the age of 86. Predeceased by her husband Frank earlier this year. Survived by her three children Lydia Graf, Art (Christine) and Alex (Elizabeth) Tworo. Cherished Babcia of Eric Tworo ( Jill), Sarah Tworo, Melissa Nero (Joey) and Melanie Box (Derek). Loving great-grandmother of Emalee, Owen and Jayden. Stasia was born in Poland and was displaced during WWII with her family who ended up travelling from Russia to Iran and Africa, eventually relocating to England and then Montreal after the war. There she met and married Frank and moved to Sudbury in 1954. She loved her family and working in her gardens. She was a great cook, loving mother and Babcia and will be greatly missed. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to St. Casimir’s Church or the Canadian Red Cross would be appreciated. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Friends may call 4-8pm Wednesday, January 3, 2018 with parish prayers at 7:30pm. Funeral Mass in St. Casimir’s Church, 210 Paris St., Sudbury, at 10:00am on Thursday, January 4, 2018. Interment in the Civic Cemetery, Sudbury.
