In loving memory of Richard ""Rick"" Poulin who passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Thursday, December 28th, 2017 at the age of 64 years. Rick leaves behind his common-law partner Rachelle Michel of Sudbury. Incredible and loving father of Abby Heasly (husband Jeff) of Garson and Billy Aulenbach (wife Shannon) of Sudbury. Dear son of Jean-Baptiste (predeceased) and Nathalia Poulin of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Alex, Codi, Mazzy, Zeb and Szabo. Loving brother of Claudette Donnelly (husband Jim) of Val Therese, Pauline Hartley (husband David) of Nova Scotia, Yollande Kohls (husband Ray) of London and Marcel Poulin (wife Madeline) of Sudbury. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Rick was born in Sudbury on December 8, 1953. For most of his adult life, he worked as a flooring installer. In his healthier years, he enjoyed spending time at camp, especially sitting by the fire, the long morning walks on the beach or by the river, the quiet mornings there and fishing of course. He also loved listening and playing music and working on several little projects around the house. Rick will be remembered as a very family oriented man who was very kind hearted and generous. He was always willing to help anyone in need. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation at Lakeview Crematorium. A graveside committal service will take place at a later date. Donations to the Heath Sciences North Foundation (Respiratory Unit), in his memory, would be greatly appreciated.
