Laaksonen, Audrey (Antler)

Audrey Laaksonen (Antler) - died December 23rd, 2017 at the Health Science Hospital, after a brief illness. Audrey is survived by her husband Allan, sons Brian (Elaine) and Brent (Sharon). Her grandchildren were the light in her life Craig (Laura) and Leah (Jordon) along with her great grandchildren Natalie, Mason and Riley – her extended family Shane (Rachelle), Sam and Olivia, Brad, Tyler (Sylvia) Vanessa, Veronique and Cole will all miss her dearly. Audrey was predeceased by sisters and brothers and will be missed by her surviving sisters, nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. Audrey loved to go for a daily walk at the Fielding Park Trail and enjoyed her flower gardens. Donations to the Sudbury Regional Cancer Society or the charity of your choice is requested. She leaves a legacy of love - at Audrey’s request there will be no visitation or service. You can shed tears that she is gone Or you can smile because she has lived You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back Or you can open your eyes and see all that she has left Your heart can be empty because you can't see her Or you can be full of the love that you shared You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday You can remember her and only that she is gone Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back Or you can do what she would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
