In Loving Memory of Enso Tonelli 91 years Wednesday, November 15th, 2017 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Beloved husband of Raymonde (Ray) Tonelli. Loving father of Wayne (wife Cathy), Donna Tonelli (Kim) and William “Billy”. Cherished grandfather of Todd Marshall (Stephanie), Jason Tonelli (Kristen), Jennifer Natti (Michael) and great grandchildren William Natti, Elizabeth Natti and Fiona Tonelli. Dear son of Ceasar and Palam (Morelli) Tonelli both predeceased. Dear brother of Attilio Tonelli (wife Theresa) both predeceased. Enso was born in Espanola, Ontario on October 31, 1926. The family moved to Copper Cliff when Enso was 4 years of age where he resided until he was married in 1951. When Enso was 16 he worked as a delivery boy, using a bicycle to deliver orders, for the Pianosi family. He also delivered milk for Bill Stinson, in the horse and buggy days. Later he worked for Reno Canapini where he was taught the meat cutting trade. Looking for greener fields, Enso was employed by Loblaws on Cedar Street in Sudbury as a meat cutter. After several years he was promoted to meat manager, retiring with 42 years of service. Enso served on the Men’s Committee for approximately 15 years as a counselor, and briefly as a secretary under President’s Guido Cecchetto and Peter Niro at the Copper Cliff Italian Club. Enso states “I enjoy working the porketta under the leadership of Frank Apolloni and the rest of the crew.” He enjoyed reading, hockey, travelling and family gatherings. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Tom Crichton, and Dr. Tracy Hayes and the incredible staff at the Kirkwood Place Oak Lodge for their excellent care and compassion.
