Peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family at Health Sciences North on Saturday, November 11th, 2017 at the age of 85 years. Daughter of the late Paul Simon and of the late Gracia Simon (née Groulx). Predeceased by her husband Rhéal Bertrand. Loving mother of Gerry (Francine), Pauline Conaty (Andy) and Gilles (Debbie). Predeceased by her daughter Suzanne Condratto and by her son Richard (Tanis Jarbeau (late Roger)). Cherished grandmother of Tark (Renée), Brec (Tamara), Todd (Brooke), Tim (Jessica), Troy, Meghan, Courtney (Jonathan), Taylor (Christine), Justin, Alexa and great-grandmother of Cooper, Jet, Eastyn, Cruise, Maxim, Emma, Jensen, Olivia and Reegan. Dear sister of Gérard (Françoise), Doris (Gail), Richard (Joanne), Claudette Lafontaine (André), Gisèle Dallaire (friend Jean), Rachelle Leblanc (Jean-Guy) and Monique Olsen. Predeceased by her brothers Lucien, Jean-Paul, Aurel, Léo and by her sisters Claire, Marie, Eva, Noëlla and Lorraine. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Tuesday, November 14th, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. followed by a service at 4 p.m. in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made by cheque or online to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
