It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Thomas Bujold at the age of 94 on November 9th, 2017 at the Maison McCulloch Hospice. He was married for fifty six years to his beloved wife Helen (Sloan) predeceased in 2003. He is survived by his five children Paulette Salo (Leo predeceased), Roderick (Laurie), Robert (Theresa), Corrine (Marijan) and Roxanne. He is predeceased by his grandson Tommy and sadly missed by his grandchildren Karen (Tony), Russell (Adrienne), Janet (Myron), Sheena (Matthew), Shelley (Rick) and eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Tom is predeceased by his parents Ignace & Amanda (Bourdage) Bujold and brothers James, Clement and Leonidas and sisters Regina, Leonie and Bridgette. He is survived by his brother Charles and sister Rose Poirier. He worked at Inco for 41 years and retired in 1984. Tom enjoyed spending time at his cottage with family and friends. In later years he loved winters in Florida with Helen, his brother Charles and sister-in-law Rita. His family would like to thank Dr. Olsten, his home nurse Joanne and all the staff at the hospice for the care and compassion they’ve shown throughout Tom’s illness. A memorial visitation will be held at the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent Street, Sudbury on Friday, November 17th, 2017 where friends may call from 10-12pm with a reception to follow. Donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice of charity of choice would be greatly appreciated.
