Nevins, I. Gisele (Jalbert)

In Loving Memory of Gisele Nevins, 81 years who passed away with her family by her side on Friday, November 3, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Villa, Sudbury. Beloved wife of the late Robert Nevins (predeceased May 2001). Loving mother of Claude (Irene), Carl, Daniel, Robert (Gilberte), Roxanne, Luc (predeceased) and Michel (predeceased). Cherished and doting grandmother of Nicole (Dan), Melissa (Eric), Amanda (Paul), Melanie (Michel), David, Jacob, Derrik, Emilie, Calebe and especially proud great-grandmother of Serenah, Benjamin, Noah, Caleb, Ethan, Izabel, Mikaela, Danika and Daniella. Dear sister of Yolande (predeceased), Jocelyn, Lise-Anne, Carl (predeceased) and Gilles. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Born in the Foleyet area, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Marie Anne (Robitaille) Jalbert. A dedicated and hard worker who spent many years in the Housekeeping Department at Pioneer Manor prior to her retirement. Gisele loved to provide for her family, whether it was baking or cooking her famous “Mac and Cheese”, which will be greatly missed by her grandkids. In her final years she was very well looked after and loved by the staff at St. Joseph’s Villa. In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation.
