Racine, Thérèse (Paquette)

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of their mother Thérèse in Val Caron on Saturday, October 28th, 2017 at the age of 84 years. We rejoice in her well-lived life and leave her in the arms of her Saviour. Beloved wife of Délice Racine (predeceased in 1985). Loving mother of Lorraine, Madeleine Gauvin (Jeannot), Michel (Kathy), Diane Deschamps (Gerry), Gérald (Jeannette), Aurèle (predeceased in 1988), Gilles (Patricia). Mémère to 18 grandchildren: Roxanne, Jeannot, Stewart, Carole, Nicole, Julie, Alain, Scott, Jean-Luc, Josée, Renée, Daniel, Jacques, Angèle, Chantal, Justin, Mélanie, Ryan and 15 great-grandchildren: Stéphane, Brady (predeceased in 2003), Kaitlyn, Sarah, Hailey, Riley, Chloé, Amelia, Emma, Hunter, Annabelle, Pascal, Thomas, Charlie and Caleb. Dear sister to Rita Brisson (Bi). Predeceased by her brothers Gérard (Maria) and Rhéal. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family thanks the caring and compassionate staff at the nursing home. Visitation at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St-Joseph Street, Hanmer on Wednesday, November 1st, 2017 from 2 to 4:30p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:30p.m. Une messe funéraire sera célébrée le jeudi 2 novembre 2017 à la paroisse Ste-Marguerite d’Youville, Val Thérèse à 10h30.
