Ferguson, A. Patricia (Kett)

In Loving Memory of Patricia Anne Ferguson (Kett) 76 years Thursday, October 26th, 2017 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury surrounded by family. Beloved wife of Sandy Ferguson (predeceased) for 50 years. Loving mother of Lori Leahy (Ray) and David (Debra predeceased). Cherished grandmother of Breanna and Justin Leahy of Arthur, Ontario and Katie Leahy- Boudreault (husband Jay) of Clarington, Ontario and great grandmother of Chase and Leila Boudreault. Dear daughter of Harold and Iris Kett (Forbes) predeceased. Dear sister of Jack Kett predeceased (Madeline), Marilyn Stahls predeceased (Irv), Terry Kett (Dominique) and Brian Kett (Judy). Patricia had a love of baking, cooking shows and the news and politics both local and international were all favorites of hers! She was a big fan of the Ottawa Senators and an amazing hockey commentator in her own right. She loved going on road trips around Ontario. Her favorite place was Manitoulin Island and she will be put to rest there beside the love of her life Sandy. She loved to get out shopping and go to her weekly dinners at Mr. Prime Rib where she was treated like a Princess. She was an amazing knitter before her stroke and her work has been passed on to her great-grandchildren. Patricia was truly a fighter and a very determined lady. In the last months the effects of kidney disease took its toll on her but she kept her positive attitude and never gave up. The family thanks the Health Sciences North Nephrology Department, Dr. MacDonald, Ron and Jen for always being so helpful and positive during mom’s treatment. Everyone there was kind and supportive. Special thanks to Dr. Koka on Thursday for all his help and his compassion. Also we thank the kindest nurse who took amazing care of all of us, Alison Lafreniere. They set the bar very high in patient and family care. As per her request, there will be no public visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home.
