In Loving Memory of Gerald “Gerry” Guy Egers January 14, 1951-October 23, 2017 After a brave battle with cancer Gerry passed peacefully at home with family. Survived by his wife Marjorie (nee Furlotte), Jamie Moxam (Lisa) in Edmonton, Jodi Stevenson (Ryan), Gerad Egers and Adam Egers (Tammy). Grandchildren Ashley “Best Buddy”, Emily, Alyson Fay, Avery, Jakob and Lukas. Brother Jack Egers (Wendy), sister Kathy Mitchell (Mike) and predeceased by brother Jim, mother Fay and father Weldon “Bill”. Gerry started his hockey career with the Sudbury Wolves for 3 seasons 1968-1971, followed by many years in the States with the IHL. His second career of 25 years was with the town of Walden/City, mostly at the Walden Arena. We thank the staff at Bayshore for their compassion and professional care. He looked forward to seeing you and always shared a story and many laughs. His contagious laugh made everyone’s day a little brighter. Cremation with private interment, were his wish.
