In Loving Memory of Douglas “Doug” Young Peacefully Saturday, September 23, 2017 at his residence with his loving family at his side. Beloved husband of Sandra (Head) Young. Loving father of Heather (husband Dennis Spotswood), Michael and Elizabeth (husband Dwayne McCoy). Cherished grandfather of Becky, Bobby, Nicholas and Evan. Dear son of Gloria (Hirtle) Young and predeceased by Edwin Young. Dear brother of nine brothers and sisters. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Doug will be lovingly remembered by the Head family, The family expresses their appreciation to all the wonderful people who helped with their care, support and friendship with Doug’s journey through his cancer. At Doug’s request there will be no funeral visitation or service. A committal will be held at the Waters Cemetery Wednesday September 27, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. relatives and friends are welcome to attend, In lieu of flowers donations to Maison McCulloch Hospice or Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
