Wayne John Rowlandson – November 13, 1950 – September 20, 2017 In loving memory of Wayne John Rowlandson. It is with great sorrow that the family announces the sudden passing of Wayne on Wednesday, September 20th, 2017 in Sudbury at the age of 66 years. Cherished husband of Victoria Hogan and loving step-father of Leigh Faubert (Angela) and Barry Faubert (Michelle). Proud and dedicated grandpa to Tianna, Ethan, Amber, Nova and Chanel. Beloved son of Robert and Minerva (Fraser) Rowlandson of Blind River (both predeceased). Dear brother of Bob (Holly). Loving son-in-law of Douglas and Minerva Hogan. He was also a much loved brother-in-law to Sharon Hogan and Shelley Binotto Levesque (Denis). Proud uncle of Lisa, Ian, Tara, Kyle and Jordan. Great uncle to Holly Sue, Timothy and Landon. For over 25 years, Wayne worked as an Industrial Electrician throughout Canada. He was a volunteer with the Air Cadets, the Royal Canadian Air Force Association and the Royal Canadian Legion (35 year member). Wayne embraced the outdoor life and loved spending his summers on Manitoulin Island. He truly loved family gatherings and spending time with his friends. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking, singing, country music and shopping. Wayne was gifted with an amazing voice and he loved singing with family and with his friends in Blind River. Our hearts were captured by his contagious smile, his zest for life and those twinkly blue eyes. He will be sadly missed and will be loved by all of us forever. A Celebration of Life will be held in the afternoon of Sunday, September 24th, 2017. Please contact family members for further details. Arrangements in care of Simple Wishes of the North.
