Sabourin, E. Elise (Boulard)

In loving memory of Elise Edna Sabourin, Monday, September 18th, 2017 at Health Sciences North surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband Gilles Sabourin 2014. Loving mother of Diane Wilkins (Geof) and Roger (Cindy McKay). Dear daughter of Aimé and Ida (Guénette) both predeceased. Dear sister of Lisette Cayen (Gaston). Predeceased by her sisters Berthe Rochon (late Henri), Yolande Theriault, Fleuride Lalonde (late Roger), Solange Beaulieu (Jean-Yves), Lucille Maisonneuve (late Marcel) and by her brother Laurier (Monique). Born in River Valley, she married her dream husband in 1963 in a modest celebration and began what ended up to be over 50 years of loving bliss. She raised a family while working full-time at Michaud Medical Pharmacy for over 20 years where she garnered many friendships that were still in existence 45+ years later. She was known as “ma tante Lipstick” to many of the young relatives in the family as she always took pride in her appearance and always had a hug, kiss and smile for everyone. Elise loved her role as Godmother to 5 special children (Daniel, Lydia, Ginette, Breanna and Hayley) and took it seriously always remembering their birthdays. She was known for her love of children and ability to always see the good in people and never judge. Now with the donation of her eyes two other people will always see the good in people. She was the most loving role model for her children and she lovingly accepted Geof and Cindy as her own. Our hearts are broken but Heaven gained an angel. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, on Thursday, September 21st, 2017 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 and Friday after 11 a.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 22nd, 2017 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel, Sudbury. Donations by cheque or online to Diabetes Canada and the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
