In Loving Memory of Denise Jones (Labre) 56 years Sunday, September 17th, 2017 at Health Sciences North. Beloved wife for 34 years of Brian Jones. Loving daughter of Xavier and Lucienne Labre (predeceased). Loving step-mother of Brian Jones (Carole) and Thomas Jones (Stephanie). Cherished “Grammo” of Owen, Zoe, and Mackenzie. Dear sister of Daniel Labre (predeceased), Jeanine Sicotte (John), Raymond Labre (predeceased) (Donna), Lise Carroll (Albert), Aurel Labre (Juanita), Richard Labre (Cathy), Martine Lightle (Tim), Michael Labre (Bernie, predeceased) and Paul Labre. Special godmother to Jason Carroll, Diane Labre and Alexa Charbonneau. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Denise lived her life and battled her illness with positivity and bravery, which made her a great inspiration to everyone around her. She deeply loved her whole family and enjoyed camping, sewing and baking. She was always ready to help others or offer a kind word, even with people she just met. A loyal Blue Jays and Philadelphia Flyers fan! Special thanks to all the nurses at HSN 4North, diagnostic imaging and NEORCC. Celebration of Life in the R.J. Barnard Chapel Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch Street, Sudbury. Friday, September 22nd, 2017 at 11:30am. Cremation with interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery. (Friends may gather after 11:00am Friday). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
