Goudreau, Shirley (Bélanger)

It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in Sudbury at Health Sciences North on Friday, September 14th, 2017 at the age of 79 years. Daughter of the late Alphonse and late Florida (née Brabant) Bélanger. Beloved wife of 63 years to Yvon Goudreau. Loving mother of Gilles (Monique), Denis (Sylvie) and Joanne (Daniel). Predeceased by her daughter Colette (Michel). Cherished grandmother of Kevin, Jennifer, Shawna, Kayla, Jessica, Shelby and Tyler. Great-grandmother of Amélie, Janie, Kalie, Blake and Mason. Dear sister of Marielle (late Edouard) and Réjeanne (Gena). Predeceased by her siblings, Grace (late Leo), Reina (late Ted), Lucien (late Evangeline), Jérôme (late Aline), Germain (Lawrence), Royal (late Aurore) and Ubald. Shirley will always be remembered as a yoga teacher and a Beauty Counsellor consultant. She was also an avid volunteer of thirty years for the Cultural Center. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford, on Monday, September 18th, 2017 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 19th, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St-Joseph Church, Chelmsford.
