In Loving Memory of Michael Wayne Armstrong, born April 24, 1947. Surrounded by his family, he passed away like the hero he was in the beautiful facilities at Maison McCulloch Hospice in Sudbury on Sept. 11 at 6:00PM. Deeply missed by his wife Beverly Susan (Brennan) Armstrong of 38 years. Cherished father of Jigger (Erin), Tomothy (Brooke), Toby (Stephanie), and Jedidiah (Jenniah). Treasured Grampy of Caleb, Teo, Emmery, Ariah, Evalyn, and Myles. Dear son of Russel and Helen Armstrong (both predeceased). Will be deeply missed by siblings Dave (Bev) (both predeceased), (Diane), Terry (Darlene), Tim (Jane), Bev (Wayne), Kim. Also missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mike was a fearless Firefighter in Sudbury for 31 years and served 5 years in the Canadian Forces with the Royal Canadian Engineers. He was a tremendously generous person with a huge heart, who made friends no matter where he traveled. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Mike will be appreciated to the Sudbury Hospice where he left to meet his Saviour, or the Salvation Army where he believed and supported the generous work they do for the poor and underprivileged Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury.
