Donnelly, Y. Jacqueline 'Jackie' (Therrien)

Jacqueline Yolande Donnelly, of Sudbury, Ontario, passed away quietly on Monday, September 11th, 2017 at Extendicare Falconbridge in her 86th year.  Jacqueline “Jackie” was born in Quyon, Quebec on February 19th, 1931. She was a fun-loving mother, grandmother and homemaker, active well into her eighties, when she began to slip away from all who loved her as a result of Alzheimer’s disease.  Jackie is survived by her son Edward Stanton (Brenda Labelle) of Sudbury, son Donald Stanton, of Toronto, daughter Sandra Barry (Timothy) of Sudbury and by her grandson, Jesse Barry, as well as by many cherished relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Hector and Réa Therrien (née Lepare), her brother Dennis, and by her life partners, Emmett Stanton, and later, Brian (“Butch”) Donnelly.  Jackie, a vibrant spirit, will be missed by all who knew her.  Heartfelt thanks are expressed to the staff and volunteers at Extendicare Falconbridge, for helping to care for Jackie in recent months.  Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Friends and family are invited to join the family for the entombment in the Park Lawn Mausoleum alongside her husband on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11:00 am.  Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Sudbury-Manitoulin are encouraged.
