Visentin, G. Livio 'Speedy'

On September 5th 2017 Livio (Speedy) Giovani Visentin left us to meet his beloved wife Dianne, where once reunited they will dance together again. Speedy was born (November 9 ,1932) and raised in the Crows Nest in Copper Cliff to immigrant parents Maria and Giovanni Visentin (Both predeceased). His three brothers are Santo - predeceased (Carol), Lino - predeceased (Madeline) and Louie (Gwen). He worked at Inco, starting as a miner, then a shift boss, was promoted to Safety Superintendent and he developed the Audiometry Program before retiring. Dad/Speedy was loved by his 11 children and his passing will leave a void in the hearts of all. Father of Donna (Mike) Regimbal, Michael (Heather) Visentin, Debby Haesche, Lynn Visentin, Gwen Visentin, Jim Visentin, Lloyd Visentin, Danny Visentin (Colleen), Billy McLean ( Kim ), Donna (Dan) DeGiusti, Cindy (Pat) Labelle. Nono/Grandfather to his grandchildren, Anthony (predeceased) and Nicholas Regimbal, Sean and Tyler Visentin, Joshua, Matthew and Samantha Guitor, Selenna Visentin, Adam and Taylor DeGiusti, Brittney and Jeffrey LaBelle. Special thanks go to his home care team especially Jenna (his girl), his family physician Dr Garrioch, and all of the kind staff at the Cancer centre who took great care of him and guided the family through Dad's journey. He will also be missed by good friends Leanne and Peter, Richard St Germain and brother in law Edgar (Mary) Henderson. To honour Speedy's wishes, cremation and a private family celebration of his life will take place. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Jackson and Barnard. For those wishing to make a donation in Speedy's memory, consideration to The Northern Cancer Foundation-Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
