Bernard, Pierrette (Lefebvre)

In Loving Memory of Pierrette Bernard (née Lefebvre) who passed away on Monday, July 31st, 2017 at the Elizabeth Centre Long-Term Care Home in Val Caron at the age of 74. Dear daughter of Aimé Joseph Lefebvre (predeceased) and Albertine Lefebvre (Lavoie) (predeceased) and stepfather Eddy Cloutier (predeceased). Loving wife of Laurent Bernard predeceased in 2001. Cherished mother of Richard (Carole) of Alban, Michel (Diane), Suzanne (Michel Mathias) of Hanmer, Daniel (Chantale) of Val Thérèse, Angèle (Marc St-Jules) of North Bay and Stéphane (Amy) of Barrie. Always remembered by her 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Edna Lefebvre, Georgette Chaput predeceased and Fleurette Savard predeceased. Born in Timmins, Pierrette moved to Hanmer in 1971 with her husband Laurent. In her younger years, she loved reading, camping, bird watching, dancing, helping others and tending to her flowers. The family would like to thank the staff and management of the Elizabeth Centre for the great care that they provided to Pierrette over the years. Funeral Mass in Ste Marguerite d’Youville Church 4290 Hwy 69 N., Val Therese Thursday, August 3rd, 2017 at 11am Funeral Visitation at the Lougheed Funeral Home, Hanmer/Capreol Chapel 4605 Michelle Dr., Hanmer (Friends may call 7-9pm Wednesday) Interment in the Valley East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated.
