Bell, A. Charlotte (Duncan)

Charlotte Anne Margaret Bell (nee Duncan), April 10th, 1934 – May 19th, 2017, passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North with family at her side. Daughter of William and Henrietta Duncan (predeceased), Charlotte was born and raised in Sudbury and married her high school sweetheart, Frank Charles Bell (predeceased 2005). In earlier years, Charlotte taught piano lessons and figure skated. She also played a terrific game of bridge. Charlotte's favourite times were when she was at camp with her family and friends. She is survived by her 3 children Cheryl McGuire (Peter), Barbara Bell (Keith Forrester) and Duncan Bell (Trina Tallon). She also leaves behind her 3 grandsons Bryen McGuire, Christopher Bell (Emma Stewart), and Matthew Bell (Emily Alatalo). She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Charlotte Bell (Glen Miller), brother-in-law Dan Bell (Peggy), her friends Shirley Rogan and Laura Markley, cousins Richard Bell and Laurie Bell, the Chisnell gang, and her friends at the Summit. We would like to give special thanks to Dr. Tom Urban. Thank you to Laurie and Shannon from CCAC. We would like to thank the staff at Health Sciences North, in both the Emergency and the ICU. Special thank you to Stephanie, Cathy, Katie, Dr. Stone, Dr. Caycedo and Dr. Theriault. As per Charlotte’s request, there will be no service, however a reception with family and friends will be held at a later date. Donations to St. Joseph’s Villa would be appreciated.
