Liscum, A. Pauline (Pakkala)

In Loving Memory of Pauline Ann Liscum (nee Pakkala) 79 years Peacefully, Saturday, April 1st, 2017 at Extendicare York, Sudbury, with loving family at her side. Beloved wife of Robert John Liscum, having celebrated 60 years of marriage on March 30th. Loving mother of Ron Liscum (Anna), Susan Stewart (Clarence), Richard Liscum (Christine), Karen King, Darlene Suomalainen (Randy). Cherished grandmother of 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Dear daughter of Senja and Matti Pakkala both predeceased. Dear sister of Ailene Smith, Vivian Chalut, Karina Don, Robert Pakkala, Theodore Pakkala, Adrian Pakkala, and predeceased by Viola Pakkala, Lillian Minsky, Mildred Wylie, Beulah Mann, John Pakkala, and Raymond Pakkala. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Pauline had a passion for knitting, sewing, puzzles, and baseball. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were the light of her life. She has gone to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ Funeral Service in the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent Street at Hazel Street, Sudbury Wednesday, April 5th, 2017 at 1pm Cremation with interment in the Beaver Lake Cemetery. Friends may call 2-5; 7-9pm Tuesday and after 12noon Wednesday. Donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
