Lawrence Stanley Ede The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Sunday March 5th, 2017 at the age of 87. Husband of the late Myrtle Ede (nee Dudgeon). He will be forever missed by his loving children; Sharon Clements (David) of Keswick, Arlene of Sudbury, Lorelei Desbiens (Roger) of Levack, Sheldon of Edmonton, Alberta, Jenniffer Lachance (Ray Parker) of Hanmer, Myles (predeceased 1975), Dale (predeceased 1975), Edna Rapski (Frank) of Sudbury, Nadine Cooley (James) of Stellarton, Nova Scotia, Donna Jean Hutchinson of Chelmsford, Wayne (predeceased 1993), Larry of Elfros, Saskatchewan and predeceased by infant son Kenneth Russell, 1964. Predeceased by his brothers Bill (Irma) and Fred (Clem), sisters Olive and Vera (Walter). Survived by loving sister Molly Hayes (late Clarence) of Englehart. Dear son born on April 29th, 1929 in Englehart to Frederick “Fred” Ede and Florence (nee Price) Ede of England both predeceased. Cherished grandfather of 22 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation with interment in the Maplecrest Cemetery, Dowling. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
