In loving memory of David McConnell who passed away on February 16th, 2017 at the Maison McCullough Hospice at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Janet (Ryman) McConnell of Markstay. Dear brother of Leona Grant of Florida, Jim of Tillsonburg, Sheila of Brighton, Ephie (Bev) of Edmonton, Kate Fortier of Edmonton, Bill (Bonnie) of North Bay, Margie Skulech (Dennis) of Sault Ste. Marie and Ethel Tessier (Mike) of Sault Ste. Marie. Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Rose McConnell and siblings Gilbert, Rita, Bob, Dennis, Erie, Clifford and Michael. David worked as a Surveyor for the Ontario Government. He and Janet were very involved with the Black Powder Shooting Club for many years. Memorial visitation will be at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home where friends may call from 2-5 and 7-9pm Tuesday, February 21st, 2017. Donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation or the Maison McCullough Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
