Savage, Gilles

The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Ottawa, Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the age of 43 years. Beloved husband of Lynne Roussil-Savage of Val Caron. Proud dad of Ashley and Bailey. Loving son of Julien and Linda Savage of Val Caron. Dear brother of Lynne Lalonde (Dan) of Hanmer, son-in-law of Jean-Paul and Claire Roussil of St-Charles, brother-in-law of Angčle Jones (Marcel) of Wahnapitae, Julie Laframboise (Yves) of St-Charles and Lianne Monette (Brad) of Azilda. Sadly missed by his best friend Jean-Guy Blanchette of Val Caron, his nieces and nephews, Riley, Danika, Curtis, Madison, Bradley, Sydney, Owen, Brooke and many relatives and friends. Adored by his canine companion Mia. Gilles was an avid fisherman, he enjoyed riding his quad, fishing and hunting. He was also very proud to coach his kids soccer and hockey teams. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Monday, December 5, 2016 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Ste-Marguerite d’Youville Church, Val Therese.
