In Loving Memory of Patrick Gladstone Gardner 90 years Peacefully, Tuesday, November 22nd, 2016 at his residence with loving family at his side. Beloved husband of 60 years of Susan (Hayle) Gardner predeceased 2004. Loving father of Doneval predeceased, Dorothy predeceased, Carol, Susan (husband Gilbert Page), Benny (wife Wendy) and James. Cherished grandfather of Charity (Henry), Lenny, Mathieu (Danae), Chantal, Shannon (Craig), Renée (Kyle), Andrew and 10 great grandchildren. Dear son of Samuel and Maria (Somers) Gardner predeceased. Dear brother of six brothers and one sister. Special brother in law to Roland. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Jamaica where Patrick married Susan (Hayle) in 1945, moving to Sudbury in 1951. He was a miner at Falconbridge Ltd., having 30 years service, retiring in 1981. A faithful member of St. Alban the Martyr Anglican Church. He enjoyed the outdoors where he hunted and fished. Patrick was devoted to his loving family. Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home Hanmer/Capreol Chapel 4605 Michelle Drive, Hanmer (Friends may call after 1:30 P.M. Saturday) Funeral Service in St. Alban the Martyr Anglican Church, Capreol Saturday, November 26th, 2016 at 6:30 P.M. Cremation with interment in the family plot at the Valley East Cemetery.
