Strachan, Carole (Goulard)

In Loving Memory of Carole (Sweeney) Strachan (nee Goulard) 62 years Monday, November 7th, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Villa, Sudbury with loving family at her side. Beloved wife of Danny Sweeney (1990) and Bill Strachan (2013) both predeceased. Loving mother of Renée Sweeney predeceased 1998 and Kim Sweeney (Dan Dagenais). Cherished grandmother of Chad and Kyle. Dear daughter of Henri and Cecile (Bossé) Goulard predeceased. Dear sister of Colette Kelly (Don predeceased), Fernande Laberge, Raymonde Baldini (Louis predeceased), Roger Goulard (Danielle) and Huguette Gough predeceased. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Survived by her stepchildren Kari, Leanna and Trina and stepgrandchildren Cody, Shelby, Logan, Natalia, Jacob and Andrew. The family express their appreciation to the staff at St. Joseph’s Villa for their outstanding care and compassion. They were truly angels to Carole. Memorial Service at the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent Street at Hazel Street Saturday, November 12th, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation with interment in the family plot at Maplecrest Cemetery, Dowling. In lieu of flowers donations to M.S. Society, Canadian Cancer Society or St. Joseph’s Villa would be appreciated. Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
