Brodie, B. Alice (Brown)

In Loving Memory of Alice Barbara Brodie (Brown) Peacefully and surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, September 18th, 2016 in her 88th year. Alice was born on April 2nd, 1929, in Blind River, to Thomas and Phern Brown. Alice will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 64 years, John Brodie, her son Dr. Patrick Brodie and her grandchildren Erik (Jasmine Clark) and Megan (Brendan Smith). Predeceased by her sisters Betty, Jean, Isabell, Isabel, and Christina and her brothers Donald, Walter and Russell. Dear sister-in law of Phyllis Urbshott (predeceased), Sheila Siren (Paul) and Colin Brodie (Claire) Alice had a bottomless heart. She was a giving member of her community and long-standing member of the United Church. She lived for her family, taking pride in their accomplishments, decorating and baking for the holidays and enjoying her time with them at the camp on Trout Lake. A celebration of Life will be held at the R.J. Barnard Chapel Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch Street, Sudbury Saturday, October 15th, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. (Friends may call after 2:30 P.M. Saturday, October 15th) Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to HSN Foundation or St. Stephen’s on the Hill United Church would be appreciated.
