In Loving Memory of Morris Timchishen It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our kind and gentle father, on September 16th, 2016 at the Maison Vale Hospice, Sudbury. Morris is predeceased by his loving wife Jeanne Mance (Trottier). He will be sadly missed by his daughters Jennifer Cummings (Moe Parisotto) and Bernadette Hellsten (Kalevi). He was loved and cherished by his grandchildren, Shane Hellsten (Monika), Kerry Favot (Jay), Carley Cummings (Andrew Bereczki), Andrew Cummings and his loving great grandchildren Shayla Hellsten, Julia Hellsten, Vanessa Hellsten and Eila Favot. Loving father in law to Chris Cummings. He will be missed by his canine companions Max and Molly. Morris was born in Rosenburg, Manitoba June 12th, 1928 to Nellie Pawluk and Kost Timchishen. He was predeceased by his parents and his stepfather John Walchuk. He is survived by sisters Jean Grabowski of Arborg, Tillie Bird of Sydney, B.C., and brothers Nick Timchishen (Jean) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Harold Timchishen (Alice) of Creston, B.C., Tom Walchuk (Maxime) of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Joe Walchuk (Stella predeceased). Predeceased by John Timchishen (Elsie), Joe Timchishen (Nellie), Ella Marsiniuk (Philip), stepbrothers Walter Walchuk (Mary – living in Brantford, Ont.), Stan Walchuk (Florence), Frank Walchuk (Kay), stepsisters Mary Oleckiew (Mike) and Julie Antone (Bill). Uncle Morris is survived by his wonderful nephews and nieces of the Timchishen, Walchuk and Pawluk families. He is also survived by his wonderful nieces and nephews of Jeanne Mance Trotttier’s family. He touched the hearts and lives of all who knew him. We will miss our time with this warm and gentle man. Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent Street at Hazel Street, Sudbury (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9 P.M. Monday with parish prayers at 7:30 P.M. Monday) Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, 39 Walford Road, Sudbury Tuesday, September 20th, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. Interment in the family plot at the Civic Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison Vale Hospice would be appreciated.
