In Loving Memory of Clark Francis Thibeault It is with great sadness that the family of Clark Frances Thibeault announce his peaceful passing on March 9th, 2016 following a courageous battle with many difficult health issues. Born and raised in Cartier, Ontario, Clark was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed trapping, fishing and hunting with his father, uncles and the boys. He was very involved in the community and was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed; he had a special love for his hometown. Beloved husband of 43 years to Rose Mary Thibeault (nee Ethier), father to Ryan and Rosalind (Ben), and grandfather to Taylor & Marshall, Jack & Rubyjane. Dear son of Frank Thibeault (predeceased) and Elizabeth (Betty) Thibeault. Clark will be sadly missed by his sister Carol (Derek predeceased), brother Frank (Adoree), and step-sisters Carol-Ann (Bruce predeceased), Susie (Al) and Brenda (Andrew). Clark was a special uncle and great-uncle to nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. He will be missed by his uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and fellow workmates. A hard working man all his life, even after retirement he continued to pursue his love for roadbuilding, most recently completing the rehabilitation of Highway 551 in Mindemoya on Manitoulin Island; a stretch of highway that has been dubbed “Papa’s Road” by one of his biggest fans. A Celebration of Clark’s Life will be celebrated at the Lougheed Funeral Home 252 Regent Street at Hazel Street, Sudbury Saturday, March 12th, 2016 from 1-5:00 P.M. Cremation with interment in the Cartier Cemetery In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the House of Kin (Sudbury), Cartier Volunteer Fire Department, Maison Vale Hospice, or charity of your choice.
