In loving memory of Morgan T. Pitfield A beloved husband, father and grandfather, of Killarney Ontario, who passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family after a lengthy battle with cancer. Beloving husband of Albina Pitfield. Loving father of Daryl (Angela) Pitfield of Lively, Blair (partner Nicole) Pitfield of Sudbury and Crystal Pitfield of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather to Brett Pitfield, Bobby Pitfield, Christian Pitfield and Brianna Pitfield. Dear brother to William (Diana) Pitfield of Killarney, Ann (Bruce) Roger of Pickering, Predeceased by sister Audrey (Art) Roque both deceased, Bruce(Bev) Pitfield and Sister Lynn Pitfield of Swift Current Saskatchewan. Sadly missed by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends Morgan was a long serving member of the Ontario Provincial Police for over 33 years working in Killarney, Espanola, Manitowaning, White River, Iroquois Falls and lastly at Sudbury. Morgan was also the mayor of the Municipality of Killarney for two terms from 2006-2014. He was a charismatic individual who was passionate about his community. He loved to be out in his boat fishing and hunting with his family. He was a man who was never afraid to let you know his honest opinion. He loved his wife and family with all his heart and leaves an impressive legacy of honour and wonderful memories for those of us who had the privilege to be part of his life. Resting at the Killarney Community Center/Veterans Memorial Hall Sunday December 28th, 2014 from 3 to 11 pm Funeral will be at St. Bonaventure Church in Killarney Monday, December 29th, 2014 at 11:30 AM. Donations to the Killarney Health Center or the Northern Cancer Foundation appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
