ILLSLEY, R. Frank

In loving memory of Frank Russell Illsley, 93 years, who passed away at St. Gabriel’s Villa. Husband of the late Ruby (nee Tupper) Illsley. Loving father of Lorimer (Valerie) of Sudbury, Howard (Sandra) of Chelmsford and Maureen Villeneuve (late Romeo) of Azilda. Cherished grandfather of Terry (Andrya), Jennie, Clayton and Dinah Illsley, Micheline (David), Monique (Chris) and Marlene (Carey). Great-grandfather of Aaryn, Valerie and Rose, Melissa and Devon. Son of the late Walter Illsley and Alma (Wiles) (nee Chase). Born in Nova Scotia on June 24, 1920, Frank, was the eldest of fifteen children. He leaves behind Marjorie Mazerall (late Richard), Charles Douglas (Betty), Dorothy Mills, Dorothy Weale (late Benjamin) and Betty O’Leary (late Burton). Brother-in-law of Frances Dykens (late Dexter) & late Kathleen Tupper (late Harley) and John Tupper (late Hazel). Predeceased by Beatrice Huntley (Glen), Walter, Bessie, Gordon, Lorimer and Ethel Illsley & Robert (Bonnie) and twins Frank & David Douglas. Frank was a Veteran of World War ІІ, worked at Inco for 26 years, enjoyed driving his 1956 International Cub Tractor while gardening and loved playing cards. Frank was dedicated to his family and will be remembered fondly. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 Regional Rd. 15, Chelmsford, Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 1-3 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
