Loving Memory of Gustave “Gus” Adam 61 Years Who passed away at Health Sciences North on Sunday May 25th, 2014. Soul mate, best friend and partner of the greatest lady in the world, his wife Jo-Anne (nee Proulx). Proud and loving father of two beautiful children, Gustave Marcel III (wife Jamie) of Cambridge and his little princess daughter Renee-Joelle Patterson and the father of their boys Jason Patterson of Val Caron. Proud Grand-papa of the 4 candle lights of my life, Brittany, Callum, Liam and Sebastian. May your candle light shine forever in the heaven above in my memory. I love you, Grand-papa vous aime. Dear son of Gustave Florian (predeceased) and Anita Adam (nee Howard) of Sudbury. Survived by his siblings Bernard (Paulette Theriault) of Ottawa, Lise of Cambridge, Mariette (Claude) Boulanger of Azilda, Lauriette (Claude) Pelletier of Coniston, Nicole (Guy predeceased) Desmarais of Sudbury, Louis of Pettawawa, Marc (Joanne) of Sudbury, Lucie Arcand (partner Andy Rau) of Ottawa, Anne (Guy) Labranche of Gatineau, Luc (partner Sylvana Totarella) of Ottawa. Gus had a great career at Bell Canada, retired in 2008 and moved back to Sudbury to return to his first career love and joined the Lougheed Funeral Home Staff in 2008. In lieu of flower, donations to the Maison Vale Hospice, the Elgin St. Mission or L’Arche would be appreciated. He fought the good fight! To all my friends, GOOD SAILING! Celebration of Gus’ life will be held at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St. Sudbury, on Tuesday, June 3rd 2014 from 2-5 and 7-8PM. Gus’ last words to his family and friends will be heard at 8PM. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday June 4th, 2014 at 10:30AM at the St. Jean de Brebeuf church, 26 Kathleen St., Sudbury. (Friends may gather after 10:15AM Wednesday at the church.)
