RICHER, Elaine Claudette - After a short but brave battle with lung cancer Elaine Claudette was called home by the Most High. At the Blind River District Health Centre on Sunday February 28, 2010 at 1 a.m., surrounded by her husband Jack (John) Richer and two sisters. Predeceased by her mother Dorothy (d. May 8, 1966) and father Banny (d. January 4, 1991), brother Greg (d. 1986), sister Gail (d. April 1996). Survived by sister Beverley of North Bay, brother Randal Ernest of Sudbury, brother Robert of Thunder Bay, brother Kim of Sudbury, and sister Patrice of Ottawa. Loving mother of David William and Darcy Elaine Logan (Tim) of London. Grandmother of Xander. Will be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society gratefully accepted. Arrangements entrusted to the MENARD FUNERAL HOME.
